This is incredible. A couple took their 1 year old in to the doctor because he had been unusually fussy, and after xrays, the doctors found 6 sewing needles embedded in the boys body! They say they can't imagine how that happened and that no strangers have been anywhere around their child. WHAT! That's crazy! Check out the short article here

That is just horrible. How in the heck could they not know how it happened. In his scrotum, head, abdomen and torso, that sounds intentional to me, but i may be overreacting, it is so horrible to think of that little one going through that much suffering. [lisagayle]

That is just too bizarre to be an accident. Someone had to have stuck those needles into that poor baby. Even if they simply left them within his reach, he would not have stuck a needle into his scrotum or into the top of his head. I hope they get to the bottom of this story. I read the article. Come on, somebody stuck those needles into the baby. What a cruel thing to do. If it was not the parents it was someone who was in the house and around the baby. The parents must know who was there. The whole incident should be thoroughly investigated. [Lindalinda]
It sure does need to be investigated. At first I wasn't sure if he ate them or not. Still don't know. I read the aricle, but this story confuses me. Was the needles poked inside his skin or were they inside his body from eating them? If he didn't eat them, that is just off the wall. Someone did something. [Foxxee]
I read about this this morning. How absolutely horrible for that poor little one!! In my opinion, I don't think the parents are being 100% truthful. I suppose they could say that he got into the needles, but I'll guarantee you if a kid touched a needle he wouldn't have gotten it all the way into his body before he started screamin' bloody murder! One needle in the scrotum...maybe, all toddlers fall on their butts on the floor, but 6 in various places?! I hope they investigate this real good and get to the bottom of it. Wow that is weird. I wonder how those needles got into the boys system. Especially where they were found. It seems odd to me. There had to be needles somewhere that maybe the little boy got into maybe. I don't know. Now I can't imagine what I would do if that were to happen with my child. It is really incredible. I have always wonder what happen to a neighbour years old. I did not witness the story but I heard it from my mum. The neighbour was having a hard time and always in pain after discovering that her husband has a mistress. Being a superstitious person, she seek a medium. I do not know what happen but the medium removed 20 needles from her body. Many witness it excluding me. I was told it was black magic. That left me in awe. [whyaskq]
I agree, this is totally insane! Did they think he was some sort of pin cushion? Come on, a one year old, I can't see how he would do this to himself! I think that the parents would have to know how it happened! Poor little guy, I hope they are being investigated! I know the laws here in the states would have that baby in protective custody! Just like the parent of the baby said, this is really strange. I believe no parent would have allowed that , if they had seen their baby do that. This is one another incident and example for all Parent, for how much care should they have on their children on almost all over the day. Just another reason why I am ALWAYS watching my kids and why I always double check my house before bed and every morning for things like this on my floors or anywhere I can think of. Kids like to put things in their mouths, so it's our job to make sure we have a safe place. It's not hard to be careful! [Foxxee]
